Our farm
Stadheim 5/3 is a farm located on a ridge with views of Vik, the Sognefjord and sometimes the northern lights! It was registered in 1864, but discoveries have been made in burial mounds in the area that testify to farming here for over a thousand years. The farm has been passed down through the generations, and in 2020 it was Gaute's turn to take over. He decided that for the first time in nearly 30 years, there should be livestock on the farm again. The choice of animals was a bit unconventional: alpacas, boar goats and muscowy ducks. They help us restore the cultural pastures and landscape, while bringing life and joy to the farm and the community. Learn more about our farm on our guided farm visit!
